Finance Intern

We are looking for an energetic Finance Intern to join our Danfoss Turbocor finance team in Tallahassee, FL. If you are looking to learn more about manufacturing and working in finance, that is your goal, and we want to hear from you.

This is an onsite, year-round internship. Relocation will not be offered for this position.

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

The finance intern will be part of the Tallahassee finance team and contribute to the main deliveries to the team

* Timely and transparent reporting of financial performance

* Supporting the business achieving full potential through Financial Target setting and controlling (PDCA)

* Business partnering; working closely with Supply chain, R&D, Sales, Project team, Quality, etc. to provide clarity on the financial performance and impact, plus identifying areas of improvement

Further to this, special focus areas in the first semester will be:

* Cost of quality reporting, and data transparency/mapping

* Asset identification

* Once completed, other areas will become focus determined by team priorities and business needs

Required Qualifications:

* Pursuing undergraduate studies in Finance, Account, Supply Chain, Business or equivalent studies

Preferred Qualifications:

* Familiar with Excel

* Self-driven

* Good at engaging and interacting

* Interest and experience in production and manufacturing
