Joining our Origination team at Deriva Energy as an Associate Manager, Origination is an exciting, dynamic, and diverse job that will have significant impact starting day 1. The Origination team is responsible for developing and cultivating client relationships, with a primary focus on market intelligence and identifying new off-takers for our growing portfolio of renewable energy development projects. We expect you to learn, grow, and find ways to positively impact the organization. We are looking for team players that bring experiences that will broaden our perspective and find creative ways to identify and develop new opportunities to contract projects. As an Associate Manager, Origination, you will work with the internal Origination team and various subject matter experts (SMEs) across Deriva Energy and Brookfield Renewable U.S. (BRUS). Working cross-functionally with our talented developers, engineers, underwriters, environmental scientists, contract managers, marketing professionals, operators and legal team is what makes Deriva Energy a great place to work and succeed. Job Summary: Reporting to the Director of Origination, the successful candidate will be primarily responsible for creating connections across a wide range of industries and keeping a finger on the pulse of the various markets across the US by responding to RFP's and working bilaterally with large energy customers. . The position plays a key role in building and maintaining relationships in power markets across the US and will have a unique opportunity to develop and execute offtake strategies across multiple renewable technologies and geographies.
