SALARY RANGE: $15 to $17 / hour REPORTS TO: General Manager STATUS: Non-Exempt PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT The Grain Intern will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of the grain industry, including operations, logistics, marketing, and customer service. This role is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the grain supply chain, from sourcing and storage to sales and distribution. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Assist in daily grain operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping grain. Monitor grain quality and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards. Work with the logistics team to coordinate grain movement and transportation. Support customer service efforts by communicating with producers and buyers. Contribute to grain marketing activities, including price tracking and market analysis. Learn and assist with inventory management and grain handling equipment. Participate in special projects as assigned by the management. Performs all other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS Educations and Experience Currently enrolled in an agricultural, business, or related field. Strong interest in the grain industry and supply chain management. Basic understanding of agricultural markets and commodity trading is a plus.
