WBS, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Intern - Finance in our Milwaukee, Wisconsin location. This position offers flexibility for a hybrid work arrangement (remote/on-site) with time spent in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin office. This internship is full-time during the Summer of 2025. The hourly rate for this position is $19.80 with paid company holidays. Job Summary We employ students for summer opportunities to help design creative cost effective systems and equipment that keep the energy flowing to our customers in a safe and reliable manner. WEC Energy Group offers a variety of finance opportunities for students seeking hands-on experience that are currently enrolled in a four-year degree program. Students work with experienced members of these functional teams. As a finance intern you will have the opportunity to shadow and work on tasks related to accounting, forecasting and strategy. Job Responsibilities Finance - Power Generation Business Support Assist with reporting and analysis Participate in month end closing tasks, forecasting, and budgeting Develop organizational and planning skills Work with departments across the company to ensure accuracy of data and validity of information Learn business support, strategy, and planning Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma, GED, or HSED Current pursuit of a Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Business Administration or closely related field. Minimum GPA of 2.8 End Date: 01/31/2025 The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary/pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs.
