Do you enjoy travel, adventure and building relationships? This1099 Title Land Agentposition within RWE's Land team offers an opportunity to travel across the Midwest, connect with stakeholders and play a pivotal role in securing land for Green Energy projects. The Title Land Agent acts as a liaison for RWE Clean Energy in matters related to title research.

Responsibilities:

• Travel extensively (90%+)to project sites across the Midwest (specifically IN, IL, MI, WS).
• Maintain and build strong relationshipswith courthouse personnel.
• Perform research, qualify parcel ownership, mineral ownership and overcome obstacles effectively.
• Develop and implementresearch strategies with minimal supervision.
• Provide regular updateson project progress to the Land Manager.
• Demonstrate a deep understandingof the dormant minerals act, heirship issues, and subsurface reservations.
• Utilize RWE technology to manage tasks and ensure smooth communication.
• Ensure all reports are prepared flawlesslywith accurate documentation.
• Maintain clear and proactive communicationwith the RWE team.

Qualifications:

• Active LLC requiredfor independent contractor status.
• Bachelor's degreeor relevant work experience preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experiencein title research for renewable energy projects, or related fields like real estate, title insurance, residential, commercial, or oil & gas.
• Strong analytical, organization, and problem solving skills.
• Proficiency in identifying and overcoming objectionsand navigating complex situations.
• Ability to work independentlywith minimal supervision and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Flexible and adaptableto changing work schedules and remote locations.

Additional Information:

• This is a1099 independent contractor position, not eligible for benefits.
• Travel expenses will be reimbursed in accordance with company policy.
• Location listed as Chicago, IL, butprojects are mainly in the Midwest region.
