Job Description

Pay Range: $26.60 to $33.25 per hour

Job Description:

The Scheduler serves as the primary liaison for the Corporate Production Planning team, ensuring effective communication of issues or changes to the production schedule. The job also includes scheduling the plant in the most efficient matter, while still adhering to the customer demands of being on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Coordination:Collaborate with the production scheduler to ensure the plant adheres to the schedule, producing orders in full and on time. Conduct hourly checks with the management team to confirm compliance with the production schedule. Perform checks on orders often using SAP to ensure orders are completed before moving to the next day's order.
  • Reporting:Provide timely reports to Plant Management and the Corporate Production Planning team regarding any production issues.
  • Inventory Management:Monitor inventory levels to prevent product aging and ensure timely usage, including rework and overruns. Perform inventory management as needed
  • Product Management:Complete all tasks related to new product rollouts.
  • Process Development:Develop and maintain processes for accurate system planning for production.
  • Scheduling:Schedule 8-12 production lines using Blade/MII (SAP) software. Download and filter planning needs for production and shipments.
  • Work Hours:Must be willing to work 8+ hours and may be required to work on Saturdays.
  • Communication:Proficient in reading and writing English.
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Inventory Control:Experience in inventory control is preferred. Ability to take inventory of products and use a handheld scanner.
  • Technical Skills:Strong computer skills, proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook) and SAP systems.
  • Communication Skills:Excellent communication, organization, and planning skills.
  • Customer Service:Strong customer service values.
  • Work Environment:Desire to work in a fast-paced environment and interact with a wide variety of employees and departments.
  • Attention to Detail:Detail-oriented.
