Feedmill Maintenance Supervisor - Delhi Feedmill (Day Shift)

Pay Range: $89,750 - $112,175 per year.

• To plan and direct the activities of the maintenance department in such a fashion as to ensure the timely completion of department projects; limit the amount of downtime by repairing breakdowns in a timely manner; and limit the number of breakdowns by practicing good preventative maintenance.
• Replacement and repair decisions on feed mill equipment; ordering parts; and getting bids from outside contractors and vendors.
• Necessary updating and maintaining of mill preventative maintenance program.
• Any major repairs: repairs or modifications that require a lot of downtime; and execution of capital projects.
• InternalPersonnel, Human Resources, Construction maintenance, Engineering, purchasing, all departments within the Delhi Mill and other feed mills.
• External outside contractors, vendors and repair specialists.
• Accomplish maintenance assignments in a cost-effective manner to provide the best possible solution of maintenance problems througheffectively supervising hourly people andapplying mechanical and electrical engineering considerations.
• Implement and maintain a planned program for preventative maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of expenditures of labor and materials and a maximum utilization of utilities and facilities.
• Assure compliance with company policies and procedures in regard to hiring, evaluation, discipline, safety and disease prevention, and other established regulations.
• Assure safety of the plant and personnel through correct mechanical and electrical applications.
• Prepare and apply budgetary considerations.

• Must have a minimum 5 years' experience in supervising maintenance personnel.
• Must have the technical knowledge (some specialized) necessary to be able to perform the above outlined job functions.
• Must schedule preventative maintenance for millions of dollars in equipment. Responsible for estimates on large amounts of capital.
