Application Support and Logistics Specialist

Waste Connections is searching for an Application Support and Logistics Specialist to join our information systems team in The Woodlands, TX.

Responsibilities for this role encompass all aspects of support for Waste Connection's proprietary mobile tablet solution. These responsibilities include tablet setup and onboarding, systems training, systems support, and inventory and logistics management.

To accomplish this, we are looking for a detail orientated individual capable of managing thousands of devices with strong social and training skills to support the field.

Our Application Support and Logistics Specialist will need to:

Provide exceptional customer support to employees at Waste Connections.

Travel no more than 25% of the time to locations across US.

Be on call for support.

Manage remote devices using mobile device management systems.

Set up tablets and onboarding for new tablet deployments.

Train sites on how to use the system as well as providing ongoing training as needed.

Provided systems support to resolve level 1 technical issues.

Jointly manage the logistics and inventory management system.
