JOB SUMMARY |
Waukesha Dallas components facility is looking for an individual to assist in internal inventory dispatching to shop floor to support manufacturing goals. Candidate must be dependable and able to communicate well with other internal and external key stakeholders. Good time management skills are essential for prioritization of tasks. General picking/packing experience is foundational for this role. Additionally, the ability to read and interpret technical drawings is paramount in the success in this role. Accurate and timely data entry is required to ensure inventory and work order accuracy. This role supports manufacturing and attention to detail and adherence to procedures is key to the success of the operation. Proper material handling and inventory experience is required. |
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES |
- Open/Close work orders to support manufacturing
- Pick and Pack outbound shipments
- Pull work order stock requirements and distribute to work centers
- Receive materials from manufacturing floor ensuring proper labeling and storage of items
- Support various quality control inventory requests
- Ensure inventory is properly identified and stored safely
- Timely update inventory and workorders in ERP system
- Picking, packing, shipping, and receiving of parts
- Read and interpret technical drawings to determine material requirements
- Follow proper procedures to adhere to ISO standards
- Assist in internal goods movement as needed.
- Assist with inventory projects and cycle counts
- Contribute to a safe work environment through continuous focus on housekeeping and safety

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES |
- Forklift: 1 year (Preferred)
- MS office suite and general computer knowledge
- Pushing/Pulling/Lifting/Carrying up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Physical ability to squat, twist, turn, bend, stoop, climb, and reach overhead.
- Be proficient in data entry with minimal errors, and detail-oriented.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE |
Required Education / Experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Ability to speak, read and write in English
- 1 year shipping and receiving experience with material handling experience preferred.
Preferred Education / Experience
- 5 years shipping and receiving experience with material handling experience preferred.
- Previous experience in inventory or stockroom management
- SAP/WMS/ERP experience
- Proficient Level - Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Work in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment.
