Hiring range: $92,601.60 to $111,113.60 ($44.52 to $53.42 per hour). Starting rate will depend on experience, education, and qualifications. Advancement opportunities exist for individuals motivated to move up within Anoka County.

Position Description The Anoka County Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) and the Community and Government Relations Department's mission is to provide for a coordinated approach to the use of local, state, and federal funding for persons of low or moderate income. To provide direct communication with the County Board, HRA Board, and Anoka County staff on emerging issues, implementation of new programs, and the undertaking of significant housing or development projects. The department has an immediate opening for an Assistant Director, Community and Government Relations. Some of the critical responsibilities of this position include assisting with departmental oversight, management of the senior housing portfolio, providing technical assistance and direction to cities and county departments in accordance with Anoka County's policies and procedures for the Anoka County HRA. This position is subject to an employment agreement and is appointed by and serves at the will of the Anoka County Board of Commissioners. This is a full-time, exempt, hybridposition.
