As a Security Officer at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, you will serve a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of passengers, staff, and airport facilities by enforcing security protocols, conducting screenings, and responding to potential threats or emergencies with vigilance and professionalism.

Location: College Park, Ga 30349
• Starting Base Pay $18 - $20 / hour
• Requirements: Must have 3+ years of combined security and military experience
• A valid driver's license with a clean MVR
• Shift Availability: Flexible (1st, 2nd, and 3rd), Weekends Included
• Employment type: Full-Time (32 hours or more)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver professional security services to protect personnel, property, and information.
• Patrol facilities on foot or by vehicle to safeguard people and assets.
• Greet guests, assist employees, and escort visitors or contractors to secure access points.
• Adhere to site protocols, reporting safety issues, security breaches, and unusual incidents.
• Respond to and evaluate security or emergency alarms.
• Serve as a first responder during emergencies.

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Meet state/local licensing requirements.
• Minimum of 3 years combined experience in security, law enforcement, or military.
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record.
• Pass background check and drug screening per federal, state, and local laws.
• Exceptional customer service and strong written/oral communication skills.
• Intermediate computer skills for client-specific technology.
• Ability to manage crises calmly and efficiently.
• Consistent attendance and availability for full shifts and overtime as needed.
• Physical requirements:
• Work in various weather conditions.
• Occasionally lift/carry up to 40 lbs.
• Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders and run short distances.
• Stand or walk on different surfaces for the entire shift.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

• College degree preferred.
• Military and Law Enforcement background preferred.
