Strategic Portfolio Project Support Specialist

Requires a Bachelor's or Technology degree in Engineering or a related specialized area/field, or equivalent (4 years job-related experience).

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time. Join our team as a Strategic Portfolio Project Support Specialist (Engr Support Spec) and contribute to the success of our projects by providing essential support in engineering and project management support. You will work closely with various teams to ensure the smooth execution of projects from inception to completion.

• Dynamic Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly and weekly reports, including data analytics, total cost summaries, material reports, and travel triggers.
• EVMS Foundations: Learn and apply Earned Value Management System (EVMS) principles including contracts, CLIN baselines, CEAC, SOW, WBS, and IMS.
• Facilitation: Set up and manage meetings, prepare review packages, present information, and follow up on action items and tasks.
• Project Kick-Off: Understand the phases of program start-up and the roles and responsibilities involved.
• Incentive Tracking: Collect and manage artifacts for incentives, ensuring timely submission and approval.

• Entry-Level Experience: Basic exposure and training in project support and Earned Value Management System (EVMS) / CAM (Cost Account Management).
• Proactive Mindset: Ability to work independently, be proactive, improve processes, and take initiative.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in tools like JIRA, PowerBI, IFS, Project, Visio/Drawio, and Windchill. Strong Excel experience is required.
• Strong Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively and assertively within teams.
• Organizational Skills: Capability to manage multiple tasks and maintain detailed records.
• Detail-Oriented: Your attention to detail ensures accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.

• Leadership Potential: Experience leading, teaching, and adding value with historical knowledge.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues independently & tenaciously, with a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency.
• Risk Management: Understanding of risk fundamentals, including approach, rating, management, and documentation.

NOTE: This position is ON-SITE at our Pittsfield, MA offices.

Target salary range: USD $72,913.00/Yr. - USD $78,894.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
