JOB SUMMARY Works under supervision of Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) Faculty, MFM Sono Supervisor, and AP Sonographer to provide professional and high-level technical skills involving use of ultrasound in medical diagnosis and evaluation of OB/Gyn and MFM patients. Performs both clinical and/or research protocols. Aware of AIUM standards and ensures compliance. BENEFITS
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION Required
Associate's Degree in Ultrasound Technology or Graduate of Accredited Sonography Program
2 years of experience in OB/Gyn ultrasound including 1 year of MFM ultrasound experience Clinical training at UTSW may be considered as experience.
American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS Registry) Upon Hire (BLS) BASIC LIFE SUPPORT certification credited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (ARC) Upon Hire Nuchal Translucency (NT) certification Upon Hire Fetal Echo (FE) required certification within 2 Years
