Fellowship Casual Faculty Role (EP/CVD)

Overview:
The casual fellowship faculty member will collaborate with the fellowship program directors and associate program directors to deliver education that meets the learning objectives and assure successful delivery of each learning objective.
Job responsibilities
Maintain knowledge of ACGME requirements;
Support the design and conduct the program to align with the needs of the community, the mission(s) of the University of Minnesota Medical School, and the mission(s) of the program;
Administer and maintain a learning environment conducive to educating the trainees in the ACGME competency domains;
Collaborate with faculty, students, and the curriculum leadership team to continuously improve the curriculum for the achievement of its objectives;
Provide a professional learning and working environment in which fellows have the opportunity to raise concerns and provide feedback in a confidential manner as appropriate, without fear of intimidation or retaliation;
Provide timely and actionable feedback about fellowship students' performance and suggest modifications to improve their results;
Adapt to new instructional techniques to adhere to evidence-based best practices; and
Participate in the EP Fellowship interview process.

Qualifications

Qualifications:
MD/DO/PhD with experience and demonstrated success in education;
Experience in medical education is preferred; and
Applicants with personal characteristics of flexibility, creativity, excellent time management, and communication skills are desired.

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: $15.25 - $100.00; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
