Salary Range: $25.00-$33.00

Job Summary:

We are seeking a versatile General Maintenance Worker who will be responsible for maintaining the grounds of our facilities, performing janitorial duties, and supporting basic facility repair tasks. Additionally, the position involves stone and metal care. The ideal candidate must be willing to undergo a background check for access to a military base and should exhibit proficiency in landscaping, maintenance, janitorial work, and basic repair tasks. The position will be working at multiple facilities at Punchbowl Memorial and MCBH.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Proven experience in general maintenance, landscaping, janitorial duties, and basic facility repair.

- Knowledge of equipment and tools used in landscaping, cleaning stone and metal surfaces, and facility repairs.

- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

- Strong attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and prioritize tasks effectively.

Responsibilities:

- Perform landscaping tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, and watering to ensure a well-maintained outdoor area.

- Conduct janitorial duties such as cleaning indoor spaces, restrooms, and common areas.

- Support basic facility repairs as needed.

- Clean stone and metal surfaces according to the specified requirements.

- Maintain and repair tools, equipment, and facilities.

- Report any issues with the grounds or facilities promptly to the appropriate supervisor.

- Uphold safety procedures and protocols to maintain a secure work environment.

- At least one weekend workday required (Sunday or Saturday, with a modified schedule to be established)

- Consent to a background check for access to a military base.

- Basic computer competency a plus
