Key Responsibilities:



  • Assist in the testing and commissioning of train sets, ensuring high-quality standards and specifications are met
  • Develop, review, and manage technical documentation for electrical processes, products, and quality requirements
  • Analyze designs and make proposals for process and product optimization
  • Support manufacturing processes for electrical installations and components
  • Troubleshoot production problems and provide solutions for manufacturing train sets
  • Develop training materials for customers and provide technical support for electrical matters
  • Participate in project meetings, contributing to electrical installation and testing activities
  • Work hands-on with the production staff to test electrical components, wiring, and overall system performance
  • Inspect completed installations, ensuring they meet operational and safety standards
  • Investigate customer complaints, determine the extent of problems, and recommend solutions


Required Experience:



  • 3-5 years of hands-on electrical engineering experience, preferably in the rail industry
  • AS or BS in Engineering
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma is a plus
  • Training in 3D CAD tools
  • Experience with SAP and project-related engineering support is preferred
  • Familiarity with analog circuit simulation tools (e.g., PSPICE)
  • Knowledge of CAD software (ProE or AutoCAD preferred)
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills


Other Requirements:



  • Experience in an ISO-certified environment
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Positive attitude and excellent team collaboration skills
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and work in an industrial environment
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check (including MVR)


Work Schedule:



  • Primarily first shift, with occasional second shifts, weekends, and holidays based on customer needs.
  • Flexibility to support urgent assistance requests when needed
