Quantitative Developer Investment Grade Credit Algo

What is the opportunity?

As a Quantitative Developer on the US Investment Grade Credit Algo team, you will be working in a fast-paced, active trading environment, to build and improve the algorithmic trading strategy for corporate bonds, ETFs, and portfolio trading.

What will you do?

• Develop and maintain production-grade Java and Python code, emphasizing correctness, interpretability, and performance within a trading environment.

• Oversee the implementation of best coding practices and fostering of skill development.

• Collaborate within a unified trading team to manage the systematic bond trading algo, bond ETF market making strategy, and portfolio trading ecosystem.

• Oversee multiple concurrent projects and collaborate with other teams to drive strategic initiatives forward.

• Communicate effectively with trading, quants, and tech to discuss strategy performance and the merits of systematics trading strategies.

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have:

• Proven experience in developing and maintaining systematic trading strategies in credit or other fixed income assets.

• Minimum 4 years of experience coding in Java and Python

• A degree in a quantitative field such as computer science, engineering, mathematics, or physics.

• Ability to adhere to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• A systematic and tenacious approach to problem-solving, strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Have:

• Experience with Q/Kdb.

• In-depth knowledge of corporate bond products and markets.

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $135,000 - $225,000 depending on factors that may include, but are not limited to, the candidate's experience, skills, registration status, market conditions, and business needs.

This position may be eligible to earn a discretionary incentive payout.
