The Manager Athletic Trainer Outreach oversees and manages the outreach efforts of athletic trainers. This position is responsible for overseeing, developing, and implementing strategies to promote the organization's athletic training services, building relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to athletes and sports teams.


Oversees an athletic training room and staff, including direct oversight of full-time athletic trainers.
Provides direct supervision typically to professionals or skilled technical employees at the entry or intermediate level.
Advises to unit and administration and sets goals and objectives for team members for achievement of operational results.
Analyzes and resolves problems through drawing from prior experiences.
Interprets policies (e.g., fiscal management, HR, contracts and grants, resource management undefined areas) and demonstrates solid subject matter knowledge.
Exercises judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action.
Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:
Required: Master?s Degree in Exercise Physiology, Athletic Training OR Physical Education w/ Athletic Training emphasis

EXPERIENCE:
Required: Four years of experience as an athletic trainer

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:
NATABOC Certification (National Athletic Trainers Association - Board of Certification); LAT - Licensed Athletic Trainer by NC Board of Athletic Trainer Examiners; BLS - American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider BLS (CPR)
