Position Overview:

Ameresco currently has a new opportunity for a Human Resources Co-op basedin Framingham, MA to join the Corporate HR team. This is a unique opportunity for a co-op to get exposure to multiple facets of HR. This co-op is full-time and runs from July - December 2025.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide coordination and administrative support to the Human Resources team.

  • Process new hire paperwork and onboarding process including: Pre-Hire and New Hire required paperwork for Active Employee Files.

  • Create and update employee records in Workday / ADP Workforce Now.

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and corporate procedures

  • Maintain employee confidence and protect operations by keeping human resources information confidential.

  • Cultivate and foster positive business relationships.

  • Assist with special projects as needed.

  • Perform other general administrative duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Presently Enrolled in an Undergraduate Program in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with MS Office.

  • Knowledge and application of federal and state employment law, SOX Control requirements, EEO reporting and best practices preferred.

  • Excellent relationship management, organizational, and time management skills and abilities.

  • Strong verbal, written, computer, multi-media sourcing outreach, communication and presentation skills, with proven ability to safeguard confidential material and information.
