The Residential Advisor will support helping incoming first-year students transition to UNM through this 2-week residential program. The Summer Bridge Program will provide students an opportunity to get a head start on connecting with UNM resources and getting involved on campus while receiving academic credit. Residential Advisors will serve as mentors and provide supervision in housing for the duration of the program. Under the guidance and supervision of the Summer Bridge Program Coordinator, Residential Advisors will be responsible for living on campus with student participants, assisting in planning and coordinating evening programming and one weekend excursion. Residential Advisors will be responsible for ensuring students are following UNM and AASS guidelines and adhering to housing rules and regulations. Residential Advisors will receive paid training prior to the start of the program and attendance is mandatory in order to be a successful Residential Advisor for the program. Training will occur between May 14 - May 21. Resident Advisors must also be available June 1 - 23 for program preparation and the duration of the program.
