CAD BIM Detailer

NEXT Electric, LLC seeking full-time BIM Detailer in Waukesha, Wisconsin.

Job Summary

• Responsible for CAD/Building Information Modeling, utilizing Autodesk software
• Produces drawings for electrical power and lighting
• Modifies blueprints according to requested specifications
• Modeling 3D electrical elements utilizing Navisworks, Revit, ACC, Evolve, etc.
• Creates master drawings showing relationships of proposed installation in facilities.
• Participate in project BIM coordination meetings with internal managers/staff and external customers
• Attends job site walkthroughs as necessary.
• Uses Trimble software to layout building points within 3D projects

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience modeling using Revit
• AutoCad and/or Revit coursework or on-the-job experience
• Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, Revizto, and ACC
• Proficiency in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word)
• Knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC) preferred
• Trimble experience preferred
• Prior construction experience preferred
• Strong mathematical skills
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents
• Customer focused and detail orientated
• Ability to communicate effectively using a variety of mediums
• Time Management-Ability to self-perform and schedule multiple tasks
