LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

NCH Corporation handles operations across North America and internationally and requires a skilled logistics coordinator to ensure our supply chain operations run smoothly. We are looking for a candidate with an eye for detail, a keen analytical mind, and the ability to handle logistics challenges with numerous moving parts. We aim to make our processes as efficient as possible, maintain good relationships with suppliers, distributors, and vendors, and keep our customers happy. This position is responsible for managing truck loading schedules, coordinating logistical support between sales and operations, and assisting with various aspects of freight management. This position reports directly to NCH Corporate Transportation Manager (North America), and has access to senior management ad hoc reporting.

Duties and Responsibilities



  • Manage and optimize all aspects of the logistics, ensuring efficient and cost-effective movement and storage of goods, from procurement to delivery.
  • Coordinate timely and accurate inbound logistics shipments. Manage, track, and trace outbound shipments to KPI standards.
  • Ensure the safe and compliant storage, handling, and shipping of dangerous goods and other regulated materials.
  • Prepare and ensure shipping documents' accuracy and gather and maintain data and records relative to shipping activities.
  • Manage freight claim processing to completion promptly to ensure minimal impact on operations.
  • Responsible for ad hoc reports and analyses as required by senior management.



Education and/or Experience



  • Bachelors or Associates Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or Business preferred.
  • 2 years of Logistics experience preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • CSCMP, ISM, ASCM, and or Lean Certificates preferred.



Analytical Ability/Problem Solving/Technical skills



  • People-oriented, self-motivated, and flexible.
  • Proficient in MS Office, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Detail-oriented, hands-on, and positive with a strong work ethic.
  • Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and communication with 3PL transportation companies.
  • Understanding of truckload and LTL tariff and logistics.
  • Hybrid working model. Work from home available. Must reside within commuting distance from the employer's Irving, TX office.
