Position: Program Manager - Employee Experience

POSITION SUMMARY: Develops and coordinates strategies that strengthen organizational development and promote impactful engagement programs. This role aims to enhance employee engagement, foster a connected and collaborative culture, and provide comprehensive support to our workforce. The Program Manager, Employee Experience will facilitate initiatives throughout the entire employee lifecycle-from onboarding to offboarding-focusing on recognition, employee experience, engagement, and retention. Additionally, this position will champion a culture of Service Excellence and uphold the Service Excellence Standards across all customer interactions

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • The Program Manager, Employee Experience will design and manage a streamlined onboarding process for new and transferring staff, ensuring clear communication and understanding of UHS and NWTHS policies and procedures.
  • Actively participate in human resources projects, implementing programs that promote employee appreciation and recognize years of service.
  • Utilize data-driven insights, including engagement scores and participation metrics, to continuously refine and assess the effectiveness of these initiatives.
  • Supports internal communication activities and messaging on Human Resource initiatives and events.
  • Develop and coordinate a series of touch points throughout the first year of employment to assess and report on employee engagement levels and their impact on retention.
  • Facilitate the employee offboarding process to ensure complete and accurate settlement procedures upon separation.
  • Gather feedback to analyze trends, particularly related to engagement and areas for improvement.

Qualifications

Education, Training, Experience and Licenses/Registrations Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or a related field required.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • At least two years of related experience, preferably in healthcare.
  • SHRM-CP, PHR desirable.
  • Strong computer skills required.
  • Must possess public speaking, communication, and technology training skill.

Physical and Sensory Requirements:

  1. Ability to read and write English, interpret documents such as technical data, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  2. Comfortable communication with all levels of management and employees. Proven presentation and facilitation skills.
  3. Ability to function independently in a multi-task environment, as well as part of a team. Strong planning and organizational skills.
  4. Ability to respond to pages, telephones, and other auditory stimulation.
  5. Ability to repeatedly twist, squat and stoop. Bending, lifting (minimum of 25 pounds), grasping, fine hand coordination, pushing, and pulling.
  6. Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  7. Ability to evaluate and interpret information and make independent decisions.
