Schedule: FULLTIME; Monday-Friday, 8a.m.-5p.m.

Job overview:

Schneider is seeking a Buyer in Mexico City to develop and maintain strong partnerships with the organization's suppliers and contractors. The Senior Buyer will negotiate and create contracts for Schneider's Corporate Purchasing team.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify, evaluate and implement cost savings opportunities.
  • Provide superior customer service to contractors and suppliers.
  • Facilitate problem resolution regarding contracts.
  • Report contract statuses during purchasing meetings.
  • Research products and services to determine the best quality and price options.
  • Provide cost effective solutions to meet internal customers' needs.
  • Purchase materials and services for the organization.

Skills and qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance or a related field.
  • 3 years of purchasing experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office platforms.
  • Background in negotiating processes and procedures.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
