We are in search of a Experiences Manager to oversee the operations of our Grand Experiences team at our 1,300 acre Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. About the role

To provide oversight for the Grand Experiences teams to include Activities, Concierge and Geneva Club. This position will develop campus wide activity programs and provide supervision to the team of associates that execute these programs as well as manage and maintain VIP service levels in both food & beverage and guest service in the Geneva Club.

What will you be doing?

* Planning and execution of daily experiences for Resort guests at the Main Lodge and Holiday Inn Club Vacation.

  • Creating, developing and implementing Experiences and special events enhancements.
  • Creating, developing, and implementing on and off site events.
  • Supervision of Experiences Coordinators and Representatives, Concierge/Pre-Arrival and Geneva Club staff including training, scheduling, coaching & counseling, adherence to policy, and career development.
  • Management of expenses for all areas in Grand Experiences and maintenance of the Geneva Club internal P&L.
  • Responsible for all Experiences reporting on a daily, weekly, monthly basis as required.
  • Development and facilitation of assigned material during new hire orientation.
  • Marketing of daily, weekly, monthly schedule of events.
  • Management of the Pre-Arrival program and all requisite reporting.
  • Assist in guest recovery and address guest comments and concerns relative to the team or services
  • Working with marketing to ensure current printed materials are up to date and adjusting to changes in activities due to uncontrollable circumstances.
  • Maintain positive vendor relationships.
  • Administrative duties to include routine correspondence, filing, and follow up.
  • Special projects as assigned.

* Previous management or supervisory experience in event planning, catering or recreation.

* Previous experience in facilitating, staffing, and executing programs/activities.

* High school or equivalent required.

* Passionate about hospitality and customer service driven.
