What You'll Do



Summary/Objective:

Reporting to the Member Communications Assistant Manager, this role is responsible for conceptualizing, planning, and managing the successful implementation of all member-facing corporate communications programs to drive member engagement, benefit awareness, and financial education. This role is also responsible for engaging with business segment leadership and their teams to ensure a deep understanding of member-impacting issues and education opportunities. In addition, the position serves as the day-to-day project management lead for all member-facing corporate communications campaigns and initiatives, tying together the contributions of the other Experience (Marketing) and Communications department teams, including creative, media, merchandising, direct/email, social, and measurement.

  • Serve as the owner of member corporate communications campaigns and initiatives across all channels.
  • Collaborate with business lines to develop member corporate communications initiatives that drive engagement.
  • Create education/engagement initiative briefs, defining specific outcomes and activities to better educate members.
  • Manage all member initiative elements, including strategy, channel tactics, execution, results, analysis and budget.
  • Manage important member notification requests (member-facing issues encountered) as they come in from other business areas. Coordinate, plan and execute initiatives to satisfy these requests.
  • Content creation (writing) for member corporate communications initiatives as needed.
  • Coordinate the work between the compliance, creative, marketing operations and web teams to develop and execute projects, acting as a liaison to the requesting business area(s).
  • Ability to work closely with internal execution partners and/or agency partners or vendors for initiative delivery.
  • Establish benchmarks for measuring the impact of all campaigns and activities.
  • Analyze the performance of education/engagement initiatives, reporting on wins, opportunities and optimizations.
  • Manage all member-facing corporate communications projects from beginning to end ensuring they are completed successfully, on time and within budget.
  • Periodically present and report to marketing executives on campaigns and initiatives.
  • Be highly communicative and responsive to all stakeholders while successfully handling a large volume of projects.
  • Available to provide communications support during times of crisis / rapid response / special situations, sometimes outside of normal business hours which may require immediate support.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by Managers(s).



What You'll Need



Education and Experience Requirements:



  • 3-4 years combined experience in marketing, communications or consumer engagement/education.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or mass communication.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Jira.
  • Strong writing, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
