PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

As a Quality Control Inspector III at Worley, you will play an essential role in upholding the quality and compliance of materials and workmanship, ensuring they meet our high standards, project specifications, and industry codes. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining the integrity and success of projects, ensuring they are executed with precision and excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Inspect materials and workmanship to verify conformance with specifications and applicable codes, ensuring compliance and safety throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with senior inspectors to gain technical insights and develop solutions to complex challenges on a project-by-project basis.
  • Exercise independent judgment in selecting and organizing work methods, adhering to company policies and project goals while recommending improvements when necessary.
  • Ensure that all work is completed accurately and within specified timelines, delivering high-quality outcomes that align with regulatory standards.
  • Review work for completeness and accuracy, ensuring adherence to industry codes and standards while maintaining project goals related to sustainability.
  • Participate in supervised training to deepen expertise in advanced discipline practices and applications, contributing to both personal growth and company success.
  • Occasionally provide guidance and direction to team members, sharing knowledge and best practices to foster teamwork and collaboration.
  • Utilize effective communication skills to deliver detailed reports, proposals, and presentations, ensuring stakeholders are well-informed and aligned with project objectives.
  • Demonstrate an intermediate understanding of project systems, processes, and tools to meet quality control requirements, contributing to the overall success of our projects and our ambition to be a leader in sustainability.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILL SET



  • Technical school graduate or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a related field.
  • Proven experience in quality control inspections or related industry roles, with a solid understanding of regulatory codes and standards.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
  • Proficiency in using tools and equipment specific to quality control inspections, ensuring effective and efficient project execution.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to achieve shared objectives.
  • Intermediate understanding of relevant systems, processes, and tools, allowing for successful project completion in alignment with Worley's sustainability goals.
  • Willingness to occasionally lead or provide direction to others, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and shared learning.
