Job Title: SVP & Relationship Manager III
Department: Western Office

We are looking for SVP & Relationship Manager III to join our Western Office team. The Relationship Manager is responsible for managing the branch operations to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of a retail branch, with emphasis on sales, service, and soundness of the branch operations. The Relationship Manager will also oversee the Service Manager to ensure that all BSA responsibilities are met, and the branch is in compliance with the BSA program, which includes CTR reporting, OFAC procedures, SAR reporting, and other BSA requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Always ensures that branch projects a professional and neat appearance, including the effective use of approved merchandising and marketing materials.
  • Resolves client complaints and concerns in a satisfactory and timely manner.
  • Oversee that staff schedules are effective in meeting client traffic flows.
  • Works effectively with Operations Administration and other internal departments to resolve all operational and staff issues in a timely manner.
  • Oversee branch staffs in monitoring performance against budget and efficient workflow.
  • Maintain a good audit rating and the branch is running in a safe, sound, and compliant manner and ensuring all internal controls are met.
  • Review reports to ensure production goals are met.
  • Manage sales staff in meeting goals ensuring all new loans and deposits meet bank policies and credit requirements.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum seven years supervisory experience in banking and/or lending required.
  • Ability to retain a broad knowledge of tasks performed in the branch operations functions.
  • Ability to analyze and organize financial information and perform complex financial calculations.
  • Good knowledge of banking regulations, business organizational documents, compliance documentation, and reporting requirements.
  • Present a professional image in dealing with clients, interdepartmental, and external representatives.
  • Organizational ability with strong supervisory and management skills.
  • Good written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and project a professional image when giving and taking information in writing, in person, and over the phone.
  • Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or client complaints.
  • Accurate typing/keyboarding skills; basic computer skills, including the use of word processing, spreadsheet software applications, and e-mail.
  • Good analytical skills including the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
  • Minimum seven years supervisory experience in banking and/or lending required.
  • Good knowledge of banking regulations, business organizational documents, compliance documentation, and reporting requirements.
  • Good written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and project a professional image when giving and taking information in writing, in person, and over the phone.
  • Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or client complaints.
  • Accurate typing/keyboarding skills; basic computer skills, including the use of word processing, spreadsheet software applications, and e-mail.
