Job Requisition ID:91766 Location Designation:Fully Onsite Location: 51 Madison Avenue, New York, New York 10010 (fully on-site) Offered Wage: $160,306.00/year Duties: Perform risk reporting and calculate key asset and liability management (ALM) risk metrics. Work closely with Investors, Controllers, and ALM teams for each product to assimilate the required data and perform actuarial calculations for key ALM risk metrics. Monitor real-time asset and liability positions leveraging Aladdin and Prophet. Create and enhance replicating portfolios (RPs) to capture critical characteristics of the liability profile. Support the development of an economic capital-based framework to evaluate enterprise market risk and its allocation to business units. Provide support for the delivery of interest rate risk results to rating agencies. Education & Experience Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Actuarial Science, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus three (3) years of experience as an Actuarial Professional or related occupation performing actuarial services for life insurance products. Must possess: Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) certification or have passed at least six (6) ASA exams. Experience must include 3 years with the following: Performing actuarial modeling for life insurance products and cashflows, manipulating large datasets, and performing actuarial analysis and visualizations utilizing Prophet actuarial software, Tableau, SQL, Excel, and VBA programming; Analyzing data, developing actuarial assumptions, performing actuarial calculations and sensitivity testing, and performing back-testing related to life insurance utilizing Excel, Tableau, and Prophet according to established actuarial principles and practices; Performing actuarial modeling for key financial metrics related to life insurance and maintaining underwriting, pricing, valuation, and regulatory testing models leveraging Prophet and Tableau; and Interfacing with Valuation Actuaries, Pricing Actuaries, and Actuarial Modeling teams to clarify technical actuarial topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
