Summary

The Corporate Recruiter is a member of the Human Resource Team and will support the development and implementation of standardized hiring best practices across PlayCore and our family of brands. This individual will be responsible for ensuring consistency in recruitment company-wide processes, enhancing community engagement initiatives, and providing strategic talent recruitment support from the corporate office to local plant HR. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in high volume staffing, applicant tracking systems, talent attraction strategies, and compliance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Human Resources team to identify, develop, and roll out company-wide hiring best practices for manufacturing and corporate roles.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Develop structured interview guides, job descriptions, and assessment criteria to ensure consistency in hiring.
  • Monitor KPIs (time-to-fill, quality of hire, candidate experience scores, etc.) and recommend improvements.
  • Act as a corporate recruitment partner to site HR teams, assisting with hard-to-fill roles, surge hiring periods, and leadership positions.
  • Provide market intelligence and hiring trend analysis to local sites, ensuring competitive salary benchmarking and recruitment strategies.
  • Coordinate centralized sourcing efforts for specialized roles (engineers, plant managers, supply chain, etc.), reducing duplication of efforts at the site level.
  • Conduct weekly recruitment check-ins with HR teams across various locations to troubleshoot hiring challenges.
  • Partner with local trade schools, community colleges, workforce development boards, and apprenticeship programs to establish hiring pipelines.
  • Develop and execute community hiring events, job fairs, and plant-specific recruiting initiatives.
  • Work with the marketing team to enhance employment branding efforts, including social media campaigns, job ads, and career page updates.
  • Support hiring initiatives, ensuring outreach to underrepresented groups.
  • Optimize the use of the UKG Recruiting Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to track candidates, generate reports, and improve data-driven hiring decisions.
  • Support train hiring managers across locations on interview best practices, ATS use, and candidate engagement strategies.
  • Organize talent acquisition vendor partnerships and oversee external recruiter engagements to ensure effective hiring support.

Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate or manufacturing recruitment, preferably in a multi-site, multi-state environment.
  • Strong knowledge of EEO regulations, OFCCP compliance, and state hiring laws.
  • Experience with high-volume recruiting, passive candidate sourcing, and talent pipeline development.
  • Proficiency in ATS systems (e.g., UKG, Workday, Greenhouse) and sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills.
Travel
  • Approximately 30%.

  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
