Position Summary
The primary location of this position is on-site at the Cullowhee, NC campus.

The Administrative Support Specialist in the Chancellor's Office plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and professional operation of the office. Reporting to the Assistant to the Chancellor, this position serves as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing a welcoming and helpful presence.
This role supports the daily workflow of the Chancellor's Office through a variety of administrative and logistical tasks, including scheduling, correspondence, and event preparation. The Specialist assists with calendar coordination, prepares materials for meetings and events, and ensures that information is accurate and readily available.
Additional responsibilities include supporting the work of the Chancellor's Office staff and the Board of Trustees, managing travel arrangements, handling routine budgeting and purchasing processes, and maintaining organized records and communications.
The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and professional, with excellent communication skills and the ability to anticipate the needs of a busy executive office.
