What You'll Do:

The Principal, Data Analytics will provide business and HR leaders with talent insights that inform strategic and operational decision-making about OCC's most critical resource - its people. This role will promote a culture of data-driven decision making within the HR function and across the company.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary duty satisfactorily.

  • Identify, gather, and analyze human capital management data to support enhanced understanding of human capital needs, organization structure and effective resource utilization across the company.

  • Create data visualization to communicate trends in employee retention, turnover, and productivity to predict future workforce needs.

  • Monitor and assess workload distribution and productivity trends to enhance workforce efficiency.

  • Identify factors contributing to high-performing employees and provide insights to inform resources.

  • Support and analyze engagement survey data, identify key drivers of engagement and recommend targeted interventions.

  • Partner closely with HR leadership and business stakeholders to translate data into actionable strategies.

  • Utilize statistical models and machine learning techniques to review data and reporting requirements. Determine best tools to support sensitive or confidential business initiatives and business intelligence.

  • Interface with other data teams to understand and make use of available data and reporting systems and reporting teams as and when required.

  • Design and collaborate with internal partners to develop and maintain key metrics, dashboard/reporting and ad hoc analysis to quantify, monitor and improve business intelligence.

  • Serve as subject matter expert (SME) in human capital analytics activities and performance.

  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams to develop, access and understand data

  • Strong written communications, collaboration and analytical skills

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Ten years of experience in data analysis and business intelligence in the financial services industry

  • Prior experience working with sensitive or confidential information platforms

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None

Technical Skills:

  • Prior hands-on experience with business intelligence and web analytics tools required including MS Excel, SQL, Tableau and Power BI

Education and/or Experience:

  • BS in finance, statistics, accounting, information technology, computer science or related field preferred

  • Ten years of experience in data analysis and business intelligence in the financial services industry

  • Prior experience working with sensitive or confidential information platforms

Compensation

  • The salary range listed for any given position is exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. If hired at OCC, your final base salary compensation will be determined by factors such as skills, experience and/or education.
  • In addition, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
  • We typically do not hire at the maximum of the range in order to allow for future and continued salary growth. We also offer a substantial benefits package as noted on www.theocc.com/careers
  • All employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. Discretionary bonuses are based on various factors, including, but not limited to, company and individual performance and are not guaranteed.

Salary Range

$155,600.00 - $193,600.00

Incentive Range

18% to 25%

This position is eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award, for which the target range is listed above (see Incentive Range). The amount of such award, if any, will be based on various factors, including without limitation, both individual and company performance.
