Acute Care Technology
The Finance Intern will be responsible for assisting AR, AP, GL, and Commissions. Under the supervision of our staff, the Finance Intern will participate in distributing AR billing to customers, processing AP invoices, preparing journal entries, reconciling order and shipment details, and completing other financial activities. A strong candidate for this internship should demonstrate a positive attitude and be motivated to learn on the job.
Essential Functions: * Conduct customer account reconciliations * Perform sales tax exemption form collection * Distribute customer invoices and statements * Make collection calls * Process AP invoices and match them to purchase orders in Oracle * Review vendor statements for outstanding balances * Prepare various journal entries in general ledger as needed * Reconcile order and shipment detail for Commissions * Complete additional duties as assigned Skill Requirements: * Microsoft Office * Attention to detail, excellent communication, and organizational skills * Collaborative, trustworthy, receptive to feedback, and eager to learn Education Requirements: * High School Diploma or equivalent * Pursuing Associate's or Bachelor's degree in finance-related field All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran. | |
