Responsibilities

The Salesforce Engineer is responsible for managing highly complex software solutions between internal and external technologies. The role will have extensive experience in Salesforce platform administrative configurations, software development, data management, a deep understanding of software engineering principles, and a passion for creating high-quality, scalable software solutions. The role delivers software initiatives, platform configurations, and overall support to meet the business requirements. This role requires a hybrid of responsibilities between admin, engineering, and data analytics to deliver unified solutions/capabilities to multiple lines of business.

    • Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues. Implement solutions that improve performance and reliability.

    • Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Advocate for continuous improvement in development processes and tools.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in information science, data management or related field or 6 years of related work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience designing and implementing software solutions, along with Salesforce platform experience such as Service, Marketing, Sales, eCommerce, and Health Clouds.
  • 5+ years of Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript. Experience with frameworks such as Spring, .NET, Django, or React.
  • 5+ years of Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, including Agile methodologies. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • 5+ years of experience data and application software.
  • 5+ years of Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of security and compliance best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence peers.
  • Provide mentorship to other team members.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a collaborative environment by working closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, UX/UI design, and QA
  • In-depth understanding of relational databases, unstructured data and softwares. Mulesoft and/or modern API development.
  • Experience with large scale enterprise integrated solutions.
  • Knowledge and experience in developing solutions compliant with Healthcare regulatory rules including HIPAA and CFR42.
  • Knowledge and experience with complex data structures and business models.
  • Knowledge of JSON, XML, YAML.
