Description

Vedder Price's Chicago office is looking for a CRM Coordinator. The CRM Coordinator reports directly to the Marketing Technology Manager and works in conjunction with Marketing Technology Assistant to maintain the integrity of contact data and information within the CRM system and plays a crucial role in enhancing the firm's marketing and business development efforts. This position will be located in the Chicago Office and the shift hours for this role are from 9:00 am to 5 pm CST.

As a CRM Coordinator, your duties will include but not be limited to:

The CRM Coordinator will be responsible for assisting in the implementation and maintenance of the firm's client relationship management program (Intapp CRM or known as DealCloud). Other responsibilities include:

Intapp CRM User Skills



  • Understand CRM concepts including: client labeling, company association, privacy concerns, data linking, field creation, data change management tools, contact types, use of widgets and dashboards, and other requirements needed within Intapp CRM
  • Understand the difference and be able to communicate about the "out-of-the-box" technology platform from Intapp and our bespoke changes for the Vedder instance
  • Experience with building and developing reports regarding activities, additional fields, and relationships within Intapp CRM


Function Support Skills



  • Understand and be able to document processes required to support the CRM especially those involving other members of the Marketing Dept. or other Departments in the Firm
  • Be able to participate in training lawyers by having the communications skills and professional presence to instill confidence
  • Work with and manage any outside vendors under the direction of the Marketing Technology Manager


Research Skills



  • Perform research, both internally and using internal and external resources, such as the ERM signature scraping tool and enterprise email communications
  • Ensuring that changes to contacts are verified
  • Provide research and analysis to attorneys, practice group and marketing department


Data Maintenance and Manipulation Skills



  • Maintain all master and legal marketing/law firm event mailing lists
  • Regularly audit law firm client lists against established "list hygiene" parameters and take action to resolve data quality issues
  • Suggest ways to improve law firm client/marketing list quality and highlight opportunities to segment lists
  • Manage data cleanup tasks for mailing list contact records including monitoring the system for duplicate contacts, merging duplicate contacts, ensuring contacts are associated with companies, etc.
  • Oversee subscription management and email delivery failure processes and complete or route contacts' requests to update preferences and/or data
  • Create distribution lists for campaign marketing lists; perform advanced/complex searches to meet campaign-audience criteria and populate lists


Other



  • Serve as backup/support for email marketing activities to Marketing Technology Assistant
  • Understand the importance of keeping all information seen while performing data conversion and cleanup duties confidential

Qualifications & Required Experience:



  • Law firm experience highly desired
  • 1-2+ years of CRM experience with Intapp DealCloud or Lexis-Nexis InterAction
  • Excellent research skills
  • Knowledge of CRM and Data Quality Management concepts
  • BA/BS in Marketing, IT, Computer Science, MIS or other related field preferred but not required
  • A strong working knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) is required


Compensation Range: $55,000/yr. to $70,000/yr.
