Grow your career with Mascoma Bank! We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to join our Finance Department as an Accounting and Reconciliation Clerk. As the Accounting and Reconciliation Clerk you will be responsible for daily balancing of general ledger and internal accounts and perform a variety of accounting functions according to the established policies and procedures. In this role, you will report directly to the Controller and will serve as the primary back-up to both the Accounting Specialist and the Accounting Officer. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1-3 years' experience in accounting with strong analytical skills. Prior work experience in banking preferred but not required. The Accounting and Reconciliation Clerk will have knowledge of accounting policies and procedures, Jack Henry and Microsoft Office products. Good communication skills, ability to use computers and strong typing skills are needed. The candidate will adhere to and uphold all written policies and procedures of the Bank, including BSA/CIP and OFAC monitoring and reporting, security, operation, and personnel policies. Privacy and confidentiality are a must! This position is performed onsite at our Operations Center in White River Junction, VT.
