World Wide Technology is looking to add an AI Business Development Manager to join our Global Solutions & Architecture Practice.

Why should you join our team?

The AI BDM (Business Development Manager) will align closely to WWTs most strategic AI Partners and WWTs field sales organization to execute sales campaigns focused on specific WWT offerings, verticals, and/or regions.

Role success will be measured through driving awareness, enablement, growth and profitability around AI Solutions. Successful candidates must be comfortable operating in a fast paced, dynamic environment and possess the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Build the WWT/Cisco AI Brand among our local sales territories to further enable and engage with them to drive AI sales and provide world-class AI solutions to our customers.
  • Execute sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets for AI.
  • The primary charter of the BDM is to enable Pipeline Generation for teams to drive higher revenue.
  • The BDMs participate throughout the sales cycle to maximize the value WWT is driving for the partner and client.
  • The BDMs are data-driven and thoughtful to the unique dynamics of the various teams, and act as a key ambassador for WWT/Cisco AI solutions.
  • Develop relationships with C-level, VP, and Director decision markers at strategic global accounts and identify new sales opportunities.
  • Build and maintain conversational domain expertise in AI Solutions, Data Strategy and architectures, and High-Performance Architectures including product and service capabilities and pricing.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with architecture and engineering, partners, services, marketing, business development, and generalist sales.
  • Forecast, report, and analyze pipeline and sales performance.
  • Use Salesforce to centralize data and maximize sales efficiency.
  • Collaborate with AI Solutions teams to identify and develop campaigns with marketing, designed to drive targeted profitable growth.
  • Align with OEM/ISV partners in the region to maximize selling impact.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of AI sales and 5 years of technology sales experience.
  • Past experience working with Cisco, and if possible, Ciscos Data Center portfolio.
  • Bachelors degree in business, IT, or related field or equivalent experience
  • Experience in effectively influencing and leading personnel and the ability to deliver results.
  • Ability to work independently and aggressively track project timelines.
  • Ability to communicate well with customers, partners, and co-workers.
  • Advanced Skills in MS Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail
  • Strong writing and communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)
