Autonomous Driving Intern What You Will Do: Support and perform validation of the ADAS Driving features to ensure functionality based upon Test Development Plans (TDP's). Includedin this endeavor is the ability to offer suggestions with modifying existing TDP's related to camera, radar, ultrasonic sensors, and other technologies, so as to improve the validation efficiency. Identify deficiencies that prevent the system from functioning & accurately report these concerns for tracking and company alignment Participate in team meetings to review project status & next steps Support the creation and presentation of reports for management review. Report content varies depending upon the scope of work, but typically includes project status, technical advancements, trends & competitive benchmark studies. Participate in & conduct competitive vehicle benchmarking activities. Collaborate to plan & schedule evaluations, prepare vehicles, run evaluation and report findings. Perform additional projects & tasks as assigned to support the overall mission, vision & goals of HATCI & Autonomous Development Department (ADD) Travel will include domestic test trips associated with the above activities and may be 10% of the time At the end of the internship, the individual will provide a report to the ADD Management Team that will include a scope of the activities, topics learned, how they contributed to the achievements and provide recommendations to improve the internship program What You Will Bring to the Role: Enrolled in an engineering program at an accredited college/university Preferably, junior or senior standing Demonstrate ability to maintain confidentiality, integrity, and ethical behavior Support experienced engineers in the performance of assignments that may span validation and prototype research Willingness to work in a culturally diverse team environment What Hyundai Can Offer You: A Global Environment that Fosters Diversity Competitive Pay Flexible Work Hours Other Details: Candidates applying for positions with Hyundai KIA must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
