POSITION SUMMARY: Renewal by Andersen is looking for an accomplished, driven, and collaborative Senior Product Development Engineer on our Research, Development and Innovation team to act as a technical team lead for large-scale new product development projects, or as a team member with ownership for end-to-end delivery of difficult and/or complex technical workstreams within a project. There has never been a more exciting time to work in research and development at Andersen. This engineer will be an integral member of the New Product Development team. The purpose of this role is to develop new products and services via Stage-Gate product development processes. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
QUALIFICATIONS:
NICE TO HAVE QUALIFICATIONS: * Experienced knowledge of lean, manufacturing, design, and quality systems * Demonstrated ability with dimensional engineering and tolerance/variation analysis * Experience as a design or project lead on a cross-functional engineering team * Experience with Autodesk, MS Office, BAAN, and MES RESPONSIBILITIES:
WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be primarily located in an office environment; however, there is an opportunity to work in a flexible/hybrid work environment depending on the preferences of the candidate. This role is based in Renewal by Andersen's Cottage Grove, MN facility. COMPENSATION: Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process.
