As a Security Officer - Industrial Security in Wilmington, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

In a manufacturing and industrial location, our Security Officers are tasked with monitoring designated areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your role involves conducting routine checks, staying visible to help deter potential security-related incidents, and engaging with individuals on-site to provide excellent customer service and communication. This unarmed position requires agility, reliability, and a commitment to innovation, reflecting our values of teamwork and integrity. You will be expected to uphold our caring culture by prioritizing people in all interactions.

Pay Rate: $18.04 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by implementing procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• New South Wales Security Professional Guard Card required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
