SUMMARY

The Charge Wound Care Clinician will be accountable for delegation, coordination, and re-adjustments of patient assignments. The charge wound care clinician will collaborate with leaders to enhance clinical outcomes, throughput, quality, and customer service. Ensure the standard care of the department is executed. Maintains a general overview of medical & and surgical teams and their needs. Collaborate and communicate with nursing, medical/surgical units, and other healthcare members to ensure the throughput of patients. The actions carried out by the charge clinician will be driven by the direction from leadership to ensure departmental quality improvement initiatives and hospital system goals are met.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's degree in nursing or physical therapy.
• 5 or more years of job-related experience
• BLS
• Certified in Wound Care
