SUMMARY: We are seeking an exceptional Cloud Security Architect with extensive expertise in cloud security architecture and architectural frameworks. The ideal candidate will spearhead the design and implementation of robust cloud security solutions, ensuring security integration at every phase of the architecture lifecycle. This strategic role requires an innovative thinker capable of aligning cloud security initiatives with organizational objectives and architectural principles. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and special projects may be assigned. Develop and execute comprehensive cloud security strategies aligned with business and IT objectives Design secure cloud environments that comply with industry security standards and best practices Evaluate and integrate emerging cloud security technologies into existing frameworks Partner with enterprise architects to ensure cloud security solutions align with established architectural frameworks Ensure seamless integration of security architecture with enterprise systems, addressing scalability, performance, and compliance requirements Provide thought leadership in merging cloud security principles with enterprise architecture strategies Establish and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures compliant with industry regulations (GLBA, PCI-DSS, SOX) Conduct security assessments and vulnerability analysis to mitigate potential risks Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure cloud infrastructure Guide technical teams on cloud security best practices and architectural principles Engage with stakeholders across IT and business units to integrate security considerations into all cloud project phases Maintain current knowledge of emerging trends in cloud security, security architecture, and cybersecurity Continuously evaluate and enhance cloud environment security posture Support security incident response and recovery efforts as required Adheres to and complies with applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to anti-money laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act, etc.). Adheres to Bank policies and procedures and completes required training. Identifies and reports suspicious activity. EDUCATION Bachelor's Degree or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field EXPERIENCE 8+ years of IT or Cybersecurity experience with emphasis on cloud environments 5+ years in an architectural role demonstrating strong understanding of security architecture and established frameworks Proven success designing and implementing secure cloud architectures in complex, enterprise-scale environments CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Professional certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, AWS Certified Security - Specialty, or equivalent required KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Comprehensive knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and their security mechanisms Expertise in secure architecture design, including IAM, encryption, network security, and compliance frameworks Proficiency in container security, network security, and application security practices Strong analytical skills to address complex security challenges with effective solutions Strategic decision-making ability that balances business requirements with technical security needs Superior communication skills for translating technical concepts to diverse audiences Demonstrated leadership in managing cross-functional projects Excellent interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration Adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
