Job Purpose
The People Business Partner provides HR guidance and support to the business as needed, under direction. They execute HR strategies which align with business objectives, and implement initiatives to drive organizational effectiveness and employee engagement.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Providing second-line HR guidance and support aligned with organizational goals. Redirects transactional queries to Self Service or the HR Service Centre as appropriate.
- Providing guidance and coaching to managers on employee relations, performance management, off-cycle compensation, and talent development.
- Participating in the recruitment process, assessing the quality of job documentation and role evaluation, and advising on offers within scope of authority.
- Fostering effective collaboration across the HR team to contribute to the development and consistent implementation of HR strategies, policies and procedures.
- Driving organizational effectiveness by effectively participating in, and at times, leading on projects, partnering with HR Centers of Excellence and the business
- Analyzing HR metrics and trends to identify trends and contribute to the development of proactive solutions aligned to HR objectives.

Requirements
- Possess a good understanding of HR strategies and functional best practices
- Collaborate effectively with HR partners and business leadership.
- Demonstrate a commitment to integrity and uphold confidentiality with careful thought and discretion.
- Experience with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems)
- Be adept at providing HR guidance and support demonstrating appropriate judgement.
- Possess excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Possess the ability to address moderately complex HR challenges, exercising conflict resolution where required.
- Be proficient in analyzing and interpreting HR data for decision-making purposes

Expertise
May serve as a technical resource to other professionals in the field. May train and mentor other professionals. Requires a broad understanding of the business unit's goals and objectives.

Relationship Management
Works closely with business partners, evaluates business needs and adapts approaches to meet the needs of the business. Provides technical leadership to others, and may directly lead outsourced service providers and/or junior staff members on projects.

Complexity/Strategic Impact
Solves problems that require adapting an approach used previously, interpreting company policy and/or relevant laws and regulations. Participates in the development of a complete solution to a business problem. Planning time horizon is several months - typically the length of a project.

Autonomy/Authority
Work is reviewed only after the fact. The incumbent would have the autonomy to determine an approach to address and resolve a problem.

Contribution
Senior professional, recognized as having an area of expertise or specialization. May lead projects in their area of specialization. May serve as a lead contact for outsourced service providers, providing direction and guidance to the outsourcer, and resolving routine issues.

For this position, we currently expect to offer a base salary in the range of $110,000 - $130,000 (GA), $120,000 - $140,000 (NJ), $130,000 - $150,000 (NY). Your salary offer will be based on an assessment of a variety of factors including your specific experience and work location.

In addition, you will be offered competitive target incentive compensation, with awards based on overall corporate and individual performance. On top of this, you will be eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package which includes medical plans for you and your family, health and wellness programs, retirement plans, tuition reimbursement, paid vacation, and much more.
