Your role and responsibilities

The Robotics Global Field Operations Business Architecture Team (RACS-GBA) is transforming its organ-ization to comply with the demand for business growth and expanding its ability to achieve higher levels of quality, speed and efficiency. Hence it is driving further organizational optimization and standardiza-tion in its operations.
As an implementation Manager within RACS-GBA organization at ABB Robotics Service, you will be re-sponsible for implementing strategic programs / tools / processes in the service community, worldwide. You will follow country adaptation rate proactively and provide operational support for country service teams to improve their performance accurately and consistently. You will participate in project work according to confirmed strategic initiatives and drive its implementation and execution to improve ser-vice quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. You will report to the global implementation manager of Global Field Operations, at ABB Robotics' Service Business Line.
You will be mainly accountable for:
* Understand and contribute to the agreed strategically important and prioritized initiatives by participating in respective project work throughout its life cycle.
* Drive the implementation of new or enhanced functionalities/features within service community worldwide, according to strategically important agreed initiatives.
* Drive change initiatives and implement global project features within Local Service Organizations.
* Support local teams through training, user acceptance testing, and process education.
* Gather feedback, manage documentation, and continuously improve training materials and processes.
* Collaborate effectively with global, regional, and local stakeholders, including implementation managers, business process owners, service managers, and team representatives.
* Ensure clear communication and drive appropriate actions across all levels of the organization.
* Lead change by identifying and solving major process issues, driving quality and efficiency improvements while ensuring local requirements are considered.
* Collaborate with field service champions and stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation and process optimization across end-to-end workflows.
* Support the adoption of global tools, assess usage gaps, co-develop action plans, and follow up on progress to ensure continuous improvement.
* Ensures compliance with health, safety and integrity policies in own area of responsibility.

Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT area or similar.
  • At least 5 years of experience in developing, configuring, deploying and maintaining applications within the respective solution delivery area.
  • Ability to quickly understand the real business problems and address them.
  • Business focused, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experienced with managing, implementing, or deploying application services, a strong understanding of functional end-to-end processes required.
  • Proven performance as an implementation team member in a complex, global organization with internal and external interfaces.
  • Experience successfully leading geographically dispersed and diverse teams with ability to promote a team environment.
  • Resilient and result oriented, team player and ability to collaborate in multicultural environment.
  • Self-organized person who has repeatedly implemented processes and tools.
  • Excellent written and communications skills to report back the findings in a clear, structured manner.
  • Build trust and relationships - effective communication with team that forges lasting relationships, builds trust between peers, supports commitment, and encourages teamwork.
