Oversee and coordinate facility building/grounds construction, break/fix, and equipment replacement activities associated with Construction Management and other Infrastructure work groups within the entire OG&E Energy Corporation service area. Coordinate with in-house crews, outside contractors, and vendors to monitor and maintain quality workmanship, ensuring work is completed within the established scope, budget and schedule. * General responsibilities with standardized processes. Works under limited supervision. Resolves routine questions and problems. Refers the more complex issues to higher levels. Follows established procedures to accomplish requirements of job. Some latitude for deviation. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
* Provides project awareness of hazard and safety standards for compliance. * Prepares and maintains other critical construction records such as correspondence, material test results, photographs, shop drawings, submittals, etc. * Ensures critical as-built drawings are maintained and submitted. * Reviews work to verify compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, statutes, rules and regulations. * Selects, obtains, and reviews contractor and vendor proposals and performance. * Prepares sketches and drawings using field data and construction surveys. * Performs routine facility maintenance inspections of all building systems and equipment to include civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, fire protection, access control and security systems. * Conducts regular quality assurance reviews during construction to verify that contractor workmanship and material requirements fall within compliance of each specified project and documents all information. * Reviews job plans and specifications to assure quality, economy, constructability and safety. * Works closely with members to ensure coordination, scheduling, and construction of maintenance and capital activities. * Responsible for coordinating construction, remodel, maintenance and operations works to facilities located throughout the OGE Energy Corp service area. * Takes appropriate corrective action to ensure completion of projects within budgets and schedules. * Monitors project schedules and issues progress reports. * All other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management and 4 years experience in commercial or industrial facility design, construction and maintenance; Or * High School Diploma/GED and 10 years experience in commercial or industrial facility design, construction and maintenance. * Experience coordinating and/or overseeing projects in facilities, engineering, construction and/or maintenance. * Experience reading and interpreting construction documents. WORKING CONDITIONS
* Extensive travel throughout company service area with occasional overnight trips required. * May be exposed to extreme conditions and inclement weather. * May work under hazardous conditions where physical danger exists due to mechanical equipment. * Fire Resistant Clothing (FRC) and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be worn. * Will work on sites (Power Plants) as well as office work environment. * Available to coordinate work of outside contractors and vendors after normal working hours. * May be required to work non-standard work schedules which includes periodic availability for emergency duty. * Ability to read and interpreting construction documents. * Internal customer focus, cost conscious, and a team player. * Ability to provide data needed to develop metrics and reports for projects and department. * Knowledge of local, state and federal laws and regulations impacting facilities. * Ability to get work accomplished through others without having direct management reporting relationship. * Excellent planning, organizational, administrative and time management skills. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Knowledge of SAP. * Ability to use a personal computer. * Ability to influence others to achieve objectives. * Knowledge of computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) systems.
