We have an opportunity for an IT Project Manager to join our Golden Valley, MN team. You will be responsible for the planning and oversite of large, multi-million-dollar, enterprise-wide projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the desired deliverables.

You will:

  • Determine and define project scope and objectives.
  • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
  • Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.
  • Monitor progress and adjust as needed.
  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degrees in computer science, business, or related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in leading multi-million-dollar, technical projects at an enterprise level.
  • Strong Technical Knowledge: Understanding of IT systems, software development, and infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in methodologies like Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
  • Experience in change management disciplines and practices.
  • Strong interpersonal, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Experience with Jira/Confluence preferred.
  • Experience in working with external vendors and contractors.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • Occasional travel may be required (<10%).

Compensation:

For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $95500 - $177300 / year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs.

This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as, annual incentive bonus.
