Genesis10 is currently seeking an Editorial Project Manager with our client in their New York, NY location. This is a 12 month + contract and hybrid remote position. This position requires you to be on-site Tuesday - Thursday.

Pay rate range: $49.71 - $58.17 hourly

Summary:

The client is looking for a Project Manager on its NAMER Editorial Team to support the growth of editorial special projects, including client List campaigns (i.e. Top Companies), special reports and tentpole moment activations. In this role, the individual will work with editors around the world, as well as cross-functional teams, to execute campaigns that help professionals navigate their careers. This requires strong project management and communications skills to operate these projects across teams and time zones, as well as basic data fluency and good editorial judgment.

The ideal candidate is a self starter and quick learner, with strong attention to detail. The candidate should also ideally have previous experience in an editorial environment.

You'll be joining an international team of editors who help create, cultivate, curate and circulate the content that flows through the client. You'll work closely with individuals across time zones and cultures to drive complex projects forward, ultimately helping members around the world pinpoint new opportunities to grow their careers.

Responsibilities:


  • Work with multiple stakeholders build multiple relationships, understand competing needs, monitor and drive progress on projects
  • Establish materials that help streamline project processes and keep projects highly organized for broader teams
  • Establish project standards, cadence and version controls for project documentation and workflow to ensure success of programs
  • Proactively develop new project tools and templates to support the team
  • Assist with the creation and update of key project artifacts (project charters, project plans, project resource plans, project budgets and communications/change plans) and with meeting facilitation by sending meeting agendas, taking meeting minutes and tracking assigned project team activities
  • Track and report on key metrics and use problem-solving skills to logically structure ambiguous problems, identify sources of data, conduct analysis, derive key insights and deliver recommendations
  • Own and manage multiple, concurrent operations projects of varying complexity
  • Help write internal memos and wrap-up reports around projects, informing executives and stakeholders about project wins and learnings
  • Help build distribution tactics based on previous project learnings
  • Looking for someone really hungry to get involved - collaborative- proactive


Requirements:


  • BA/BS degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 2+ years' experience in non-technical position support project/ program management in a news, media, advertising or marketing environment
  • Teams and slack experience - MS Office
  • Google suites
  • Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
