Responsibilities

Are you ready to make a meaningful impact while having a blast? Join us at Newport Healthcare as our Clinical Supervisor Extraordinaire! In this exciting role, you'll be the driving force behind our amazing team of clinicians and support staff, guiding them in delivering top-notch therapeutic services to teens and families. With your leadership and expertise, you'll help create a positive and engaging environment where everyone can thrive!

Key Responsibilities:

Caseload Captain: Assign caseloads and supervise clinical staff while also managing your own caseload when needed-because teamwork makes the dream work!

Admissions Wizard: Oversee the admissions process, ensuring new clients feel welcomed and ready to embark on their healing journey with us.

Program Maestro: Collaborate with the director to create and monitor a dynamic clinical program schedule that keeps our services running smoothly and meets payer requirements.

Group Guru: Lead engaging Parent Support Groups, Multi-Family Process Groups, and other therapy sessions that foster connection and support among families.

Crisis Hero: Step in to assist with crisis prevention, intervention, and management, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for everyone.

Documentation Detective: Ensure timely completion of assessments, treatment plans, and clinical documentation by the team, while conducting fun and informative chart audits.

Supervision Superstar: Facilitate weekly group supervision for clinicians and provide individual support to help them shine in their roles.

Team Cheerleader: Lead weekly treatment team meetings to encourage collaboration, creativity, and open communication among staff.

Contractor Coach: Supervise outside clinical independent contractors, answering questions and providing feedback to ensure everyone is on the same page.

Consultation Collaborator: Consult regularly with psychiatrists and outside experts to enhance our clients' care and experience.

Quality Assurance Advocate: Get involved in Quality Assurance (QA) and Utilization Review (UR) activities, including conducting peer-to-peer reviews to keep our standards high.

Discharge Dynamo: Oversee discharge planning, coordinating administrative discharges and referrals to higher levels of care with ease and compassion.

Compliance Champion: Uphold responsibilities in line with corporate policies, licensing regulations, and applicable laws-keeping it all above board!

Documentation Detective: Audit electronic clinical documentation, ensuring everything from assessments to discharge summaries is accurate and compliant.

Community Ambassador: Represent Newport Academy at community meetings, conferences, trainings, and presentations, spreading the word about our mission and services!


Qualifications

  • Master's Degree required, preferably degree at the doctorate level, from an accredited or state approved graduate school.
  • Licensed in Marriage Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work is required in the state in which you are applying.
  • Experience in providing family therapy with adolescents and parents
  • Willingness to be trained, supervised and provide services within the framework of Attachment-Based Family Therapy.
  • Training or experience in trauma-informed treatment preferred.
  • One-year supervisory experience required.

Compensation for this role ranges from $69,017-$97,371 per year depending on education and experience.
