Responsibilities

Are you ready to take the reins and lead a dynamic team in a vibrant environment? We're on the lookout for an Operations Director who can partner with our program leaders to manage both the nitty-gritty of administrative tasks and the heart of clinical operations. This isn't just any job; it's an opportunity to shape the future of our organization while having a blast! You'll be at the forefront of team building, regulatory wizardry, service excellence, and more-all while embodying Newport's mission, vision, and values every single day.

Key Responsibilities:

Master Planner: Strategically plan, organize, and execute daily operations while dreaming up exciting initiatives that drive us forward.

Needs Detective: Assess the needs of our program and staff, proactively addressing concerns and suggesting improvements like a true superhero.

Regulatory Guru: Stay in the know about Joint Commission standards and licensing regulations, ensuring we're always in tip-top shape and compliant with Newport's policies.

Team Connector: Conduct daily rounds to engage with our amazing staff and connect with on-site teams-because teamwork makes the dream work!

Operations Overlord: Oversee local operations, including residential, clinical, facilities, nursing, and culinary services, while collaborating with admissions, clinical outreach, utilization review, and alumni operations.

KPI Champion: Ensure we hit our key performance indicators for client satisfaction, treatment completion, employee retention, and operational EBITDA. Let's celebrate those wins!

Data Detective: Dive into KPI reports, using data and insights from your interactions to identify opportunities and craft strategies that make a difference.

Other Adventures: Take on additional duties as assigned-because every day is a new opportunity for fun and growth!


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in behavioral health operations required.
  • Must have experience as a Program Director, Executive Director or Clinical and Operations
  • Manager within an RTC, acute psychiatric hospital, a large psychiatric unit of an acute care hospital or other behavioral health treatment environment.
  • Working knowledge of behavioral health management practices and clinical operations.
  • Working knowledge of state and federal regulatory and various accreditation requirements related to behavioral health management.
  • Working knowledge of operations and financial management and marketing frameworks.

Compensation for this role ranges from $123,040-$143,500 per hour depending on education and experience.

An individual's pay rate within the posted range is determined by several factors, including skills, experience, education, and market conditions. Additionally, we consider internal equity to ensure fairness within our organization.
