As a Security Professional Armed Driver Licensed in Land O Lakes, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer in a government setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. This is an armed post, requiring you to carry authorized equipment while conducting routine patrols and responding to situations as needed. You will interact with the public and staff, delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $21.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at government locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the premises and perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the site.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity through visible presence and adherence to established protocols.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site requirements.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as needed.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be designated as an armed security professional and be able to carry handcuffs, pepper spray, and a sidearm as required by post assignment.
• Must possess a valid driver's license in the state where the job is located.
• Must be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program, or possess an equivalent qualification.
• Must hold a valid Corrections Officer License.
• Must hold a valid Law Enforcement Officer License.
• Must possess a valid Florida Armed Security Professional License (FL: Armed SP Lic).
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
